Summer Activities

Museums

We all know summer is about having fun, but what about if you can also learn while you’re at it? That’s exactly what Santa Ana museums are for. Museums are not only a fun way to fill time, but they can also be an educational experience. Going to a museum is a great way to keep your kids actively learning during the summer.

Each culture is unique and has a lot of history you can learn about. The Bowers Museum is designed to bring all cultures together. They have over 90,000 items from all around the world to help you learn about other cultures. The current building was built in 1936 and is now eight times the size of what it was originally.

Brewers Museum offers a couple of events every week. Their American Blues ‘n Jazz Festival is coming up on July 10, starting at 11:00 a.m. This will be a festival full of free live music, face painting, and art!

Keep your kids engaged in learning by bringing them to Discovery Cube , full of hands-on learning activities for kids. Discovery Cube is holding a five-day STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) camp from June 27 to July 1.

The Lyon Air Museum brings history to life with its aircrafts and unique automobiles. They focus on World War II and how the United States has changed due through past events. Take a tour and learn about the history of the United States.

Lyon Air Musem will be hosting Hot Rods on the Tarmac on July 16. They will have food and drinks to enjoy while you are admiring the hot rods. If you have a unique hot rod, you can register it here to show it off at the event!
